Hey Bloggers! Here are my top 5 tips on how to be more productive!
1# wake up early-
The best thing I can recommended on how to be more productive is waking up earlier. If your staring work at 9 wake up at 6:30 and spend an hour on things that you need to get done before starting work. That way when you get home, you don’t have to feel stressed or overwhelmed with all the things that needed to be done in that day.
2# write out a planner.
A planner or a notebook or a bullet journal are all great ways to plan out and organise your day. Write 3 main goals that you want to achieve that day and priorities on those three things and the rest of your goals on the lists are just bonuses in completing. Also what else helps me, is starting on just a couple of little tasks to complete before I do the big tasks, for example, emptying the dishwasher and cleaning the dining table, there all little tasks I can complete first to help me feel more motivated in doing the bigger tasks.
3# just get up and do it, or the five second rule.
It’s really hard when your unmotivated to try and tick off all the things on your list. It’s all in your mind and once you get up and start completing a task, you will feel more accomplished and happy and motivated to do more tasks. So what I do to get off the couch and start completing my tasks, is to count to five, and once I reach 5 I have to get up and do that task. It’s all about just pushing yourself and getting up to do that task. Once you have done that task you will realise it wasn’t that hard after all.
4# Why did you set this task as your goal?
Ask yourself , why did I set this task as my goal, how will this help me in the future, make sure you set some tasks or goals that will help you in your future. If your goal in life is to be a Youtuber, what are you doing to help you become a YouTuber. Or if your goal in life is to be a full time blogger, but you can’t be bothered to make the blogs, then is that what you really want to be? Or is it something you like reading but not creating. It’s okay to like someone else’s career, but at the same time it doesn’t mean that you have to become one as well. So just ask yourself, is what you doing what you really want to do, and do you enjoy what your doing?
5# don’t be so hard on yourself, and don’t get grumpy at yourself, and it’s okay to take a break!
I sometimes have trouble with this task as well.
If you have worked really hard and you just want a break, don’t beat yourself up about having a break, do it! In fact sometimes when you take a break, it gives you a chance to think of more ideas on what else you want to do with your life. And also you need a break to feel recharged. Also if you wake up on a day where you just want a few hours to yourself and do what you want to do, do it! Or if it’s the end of the day and you haven’t ticked off all the things off your list, don’t get grumpy about it, instead be happy with yourself with the couple of tasks that you did complete that day. And chances are, you may of just created a to big of a list to be able to be accomplished all in one day.
