How to wake up earlier â˜€ï¸

Today I will be talking about how to wake up earlier! And these are my top 5 tips on how to do it.

1# REASON for Waking up earlier. Now what’s the point of waking up at 5 or 6am when you don’t have a reason for waking up that early. So think about why you want to wakeup early and write the goals down in your notebook on what you want to achieve in life, and how your going to be able to do it. For example if your goal in life is to be fit and healthy, you can use that time in the morning to make a healthy breakfast and to exercise, wether that’s jogging around the block or joining a gym or simply exercising at your own home. Whatever your goals are write them down and see how you will achieve them by waking up earlier.

2# don’t hit the snooze button:

As soon as your alarm goes off get up and think about what you will achieve and what your life will look like in the long run if you wake up and not waste your time sleeping in. Also give yourself a little excitement in waking up, for example a yummy breakfast and a hot chocolate motivates me to get up every morning on time. Or if you love your coffee, set up your coffee so in the morning all you need to do is pour your coffee in a cup before you start your day.

3# go to bed earlier, how are you suppose to wake up early if your only running on 4 hours sleep. Make sure you go to bed at a reasonable time, so you can get your full 7 to 8 hours sleep, or how many hours gives you the most energy when waking up at 5 or 6 am.

4# creating a morning routine and a To do list the night before. If you plan your routine the night before, you can then spring out of bed and start cracking on what you need to do in the morning to make your life more successful. Also write in a seperate piece of paper on your notebook on why your doing it and what is your long term goals, that way if you wake up feeling unmotivated, you can look at your notebook and go right the reason I’m doing all of this is because in the long run I will reach my big goals I’m aiming to achieve. Otherwise if your waking up not knowing what you want to achieve, most likely you won’t wake up early because you won’t feel the need in waking up early.

5# make some time in the morning to focus on something you enjoy, and do your hobby.

Sometimes you need a break from all the TO Dos. So if you leave yourself some rewarding time, focus on yourself and your hobbies and what makes you really happy. Wether that’s scrapbooking or sewing or reading a book, whatever it is, make time to reward yourself.

6# lastly, just a little additional step. Stop getting grumpy at yourself.

If your making tasks to hard and getting grumpy at yourself for not achieving them, or if something pops up and you don’t have time to do a task, don’t get grumpy at yourself. Just remind yourself, as long as you done at least one thing that’s going towards your goal then that’s fine. Just don’t get grumpy at yourself, otherwise chances are you won’t achieve any of your goals and you won’t feel satisfied, because your being to hard on yourself.
